Aedan Padron
Print Designer Explorer
Project Introduction:
A series of four different zines showing off my exploration and getting a better understanding of my cultural identity and background all packaged together in a custom designed box along with other custom designed content. With the goal to help inspire people and show them a way that they can go out and explore their own cultural identity and background.
About the Designer:
Hello there, I’m Aedan, UX + Graphic Designer ready to change and communicate the world with my designs. I’ve always had a passion for art and anything related mainly because it’s a way to express myself and creating art and designs is more than just showing off my creativity skills. It’s about the kind of message I can deliver and communicate to the viewers and while that can be challenging, that’s what makes me enjoy being a graphic designer. I’m always always up for the challenge and ready to learn new things and try out different styles and approaches to deliver my message.

Andy Alfaro
Arts & Craftsman
Project Introduction:
My project is an amalgamation of working under the stress of time management & a connection to a story that I want others to connect to; art has the ability to communicate what can’t be said with words alone, & I wanted my project to connect people to a fraction of a story that they have no connection to.
About the Designer:
I’m a graphic design major that never did anything art related prior to college. I started as a computer science major because I was told it was a challenging yet safe route to take to secure a job post graduation, but I quickly found myself discouraged by how little output I would get from an input of a wall of code. I switched my major as a last ditch effort & quickly found myself enjoying the act of creating for creation’s sake.

Fresh Faced
Cecilia Fontes
Brand Designer
Project Introduction:
When I walk into a store or visit the beauty section, I always notice the skincare packaging, which I find appealing. I feel as though I'm walking into a museum to view paintings. I study the packaging work carefully and slowly. I consider all of the design elements, including the typeface, colors, and designs. One of a brand's most crucial components is its packaging, which shapes its identity and gives it meaning and purpose. I'll be concentrating on the packaging design, trying to make it entertaining, beautiful, and educational all at once. Me and my sisters love to buy skincare products, especially my younger sister. She has more skincare products than she actually needs, and this is an issue. I want to raise awareness about how preteens and teenagers buy more skincare products than they need, and how these products can lead to future skin issues. For my senior project, I want to create a skincare line that teaches young teenagers how to care for their skin. The skincare line includes a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and pimple patches. Each product will have a unique design. What makes this brand different from other skincare brands is that it includes the proper skincare routine.
“Fresh Faced" is a brand that teaches young teenagers how to properly care for their facial skin. It's fun to learn how to care for your skin!

512 Jiu Jitsu
Drew Flores
Graphic Designer
Project Introduction:
In January 2023, I began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for a new way to exercise and step out of my comfort zone. What started as a personal journey turned into an experience defined by community, friendship, and hard work. From working towards my belt promotion to pursuing certification as an instructor, this community played a crucial role in my personal growth. In turn, this growth helped me to decide what I wanted to create for Senior Studio and that would be rash guards. A rash guard is a dry-fit shirt that is worn underneath a gi when training in Jiu Jitsu, it helps to prevent rashes and absorbs sweat. Inspired by my connection to Austin, my hometown, I've decided to launch my own brand of rash guards called 512 Jiu Jitsu. The designs of the first two rash guards capture the essence of Texas, incorporating colors, ideas, and iconic imagery from Texan culture.

MOVEMENT
Ian Clennan
Photographer & Graaphic Designer
Project Introduction:
The large scale of the work comes from my love of high-end automotive and fashion publications that can properly showcase the design and photographic works within. By using heavier-weight papers, custom bindings, and on occasion, alternative print methods these types of media not only tell their stories but captivate the viewer as well. Often in these types of publications, the verbiage used is highly descriptive and immerses the reader in the environment of an automotive press release in some exotic location. By going far beyond a standard magazine size I wanted to engulf my viewers in the time and effort involved in putting a publication like this together and emphasize the quality of imagery and color.
Introduction:
The goal of this final magazine project is to document where each artist is in their respective fields and careers as a way to tap into my journalistic background through layout design and photography and learn about trades outside of graphic design and photography to improve my own creative operations.

Liv Felix
Typographer
Project Introduction:
We see written language as a form of communication. We view words as things that are meant to be understood; we analyze and study them for semantic meaning. But in doing that, we neglect to see words in their purest form – they are shapes, lines, and curves – a beautiful form of expression with their own rhythm and composition. I aim to express that sometimes the beauty of what words are is more important than what they mean.
About the Designer:
I’m Liv – a digital designer based in Austin/Dallas. I utilize unconventional materials, media, and ideas to create expressive works. Currently, my artistic focus lies in typography and mixed media, but my style is fluid and characterized by a constant exploration of new ideas and experimentation.

Marla Sapien
Visual Identity & Product Graphic Designer
Project Introduction:
Branding and Packaging design for a healthy snacks & drinks company. Nutrinosh is a brand born out of my passion for healthy snacks and captivating design which I rarely found within the market of Healthy Packaging. The creation of this project was rooted in the scarcity of well-designed packaging for nutritious snacks. I pictured Nutrinosh as the go-to for both feeling good and looking good.
About the Designer:
Hi, Im Marla, a Graphic Designer and UX Designer, I love to create branding elements, Identity designs, packaging design and see the designs come to life. One thing I love about working with the elements that create a brand is the research and the visual aspects of finding things that relate to the mission statement, to the vision and the audience. I like to create and see my designs in something physical, and I want to adapt my Graphic design with my UX Designer major by making my designs accessible with a creative approach.
